Unidentified Substance #2: 1 part (now identified)
N-Acetylanthranilic Acid is a precursor in the synthesis of methaqualone. The presence of Methyl N-Acetylanthranilate in this sample is also associated with methaqualone synthesis.
Jun 23 2022: Methyl N-Acetylanthranilate (CAS# 2719-08-6) has been suggested as a potential identification for the most abundant substance in this sample, previously referred to as Unidentified #1, and N-Acetylanthranilic Acid (CAS# 89-52-1) for the less abundant one.
