Tan powder in baggie. Submitter notes sample 'smelled like coffee'.
Sample is associated with an adverse health event.
May 30 2023: The three unidentifieds in this sample match ones in samples #10856 and #10858.
2023 Aug 14: After extensive research, we've been unable to definitively identify these three unidentified substances. The closest we've come is that two seem like they might be some pthalates except there's no mz 149. We have a theoretical explanation for how that could be possible, but nothing more than speculation. For the third unidentified, there are some similarities to some known plasticizers.

Currently, we think none of these three unidentifieds are psychoactive drugs, but we can't be sure.
Unidentifed Substances
This sample contains an unidentified chemical. We do not have a matching substance in our lab's internal database and have not yet been able to identify the chemical(s).

We need the help of outside expert analytical chemists and drug geeks to determine what substance matches the mass spectrum (MS) fingerprint. The lab's GC/MS graphs can be viewed by clicking on the thumbnails on this page.
