Note that the marquis and mecke results (Black/Purple and Turquoise) are somewhat different than the photo of the field test reactions because several minutes have passed since the test was started. The Turquoise color of the Mecke reaction is the term we're using to describe a dark color change with strong blue-green (turquoise) color. In many photos, the blue-green color is masked by the generally dark tone.
